1.  Maintenance method of pipe calibration press

2.  Before starting the pipe calibration press

 

(1) Check whether each lubricating part of the pipe calibration press needs lubrication, and fill the lubricating oil (grease) according to the requirements of the lubricating part in the operation manual.

(2) Check whether there are any sundries, tools, etc. within the travel range of each movable part that may hinder the operation of the operating part. If there are any, it must be removed.

(3) Start the motor and oil pump respectively, and check whether there is abnormal sound.

(4) Run each parts that can be operated mechanically, such as the movable beam, 10 sets of conveying roller beds, 6 sets of rotating roller beds in unloading for several times to check whether there is any abnormal phenomenon.

(5) Confirm the working capacity of the pipe calibration press, such as whether the movable beam runs within the travel range, whether the calibrating tools are installed correctly and well, and whether the pressure adjusted by the remote pressure regulating valve & electric contact pressure gauge can calibrate the workpiece.

 

 

3.   during Pipe calibration press working hours

1) Check if all indicating devices of the electrical system, such as power supply indicator, control circuit indicator, programmable logic controller normal working indicator, alarm indicator are normal.

2) Whether the operation, control and adjustment devices of the electrical system are normal and sensitive.

3) Whether all limit switches and travel switches in the electrical system work normally.

4) There is no abnormal sound and overheating when the motor is working.

5) There is no abnormal noise and peculiar smell when the components work in the electric control box.

6) Whether the exposed wire and pipeline are loosing and have the friction phenomenon.

7) Check hydraulic system pressure display, solenoid valve power off display, oil filter alarm indicator.

8) There is no abnormal sound when the oil pump is running.

9) There is no leakage in each part of the hydraulic system.

10) Whether the speed, travel and function of the parts can be operated by the Pipe calibration press is normal and stable.

11) Check guide rail, bearing and other friction pair in good lubrication, there is no abnormal temperature rise.

12)The joints and fasteners should be tightened to see if they are loose.

13) Whether there is no change in the working accuracy and performance of the Pipe calibration press.

  

4.  After the pipe calibration press is finished

1) turn off the pipe calibration press power.

2) Movable cross beam and 6 groups rotating roller must be put at the bottom dead point of pipe calibration press once the power is off.

3) Any accidents, please push the emergency stop button on electrical panel and operating station down.

 

 

 

5.  Regular maintenance of pipe calibration press

After the use of the pipe calibration press, the mechanical part will be worn, light so that the pipe calibration press can not play a normal function, serious mechanical failure or even an accident. The purpose of regular maintenance is to keep the press in good condition through daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual or yearly maintenance, so as to ensure the normal operation of the pipe calibration press and the safety of the operator.

 

1) According to the structure characteristics, transmission characteristics and use of the pipe calibration press, remove the parts that can and need to be removed, such as: box cover, protective cover, bearing cover, thoroughly cleaning and rub, add lubricating oil and then reinstall.

2) Clean the oil mouth, cups and tube of lubricating parts, and fill with lubricating oil (grease) to ensure good lubrication.

3) Tighten the loose part and adjust the clearance.

4) Clean guide and slide surface, remove burr and dirt.

5) According to the specific situation of the pipe calibration press to replace the need to replace the vulnerable parts.

6) Check and maintain the parts that need to be maintained in the hydraulic system of the pipe calibration press according to the manual. If cleaning oil filter, check oil quality and oil quantity. Check the pressure gauge and tubing joint to prevent oil leakage. Replace the sealing element in the joint section as needed. Check the cleanliness of hydraulic oil.

7) Inspect and clean the electrical wiring and fixtures according to the electrical requirements in the manual. Note: Electrical maintenance must be carried out by qualified electrical professionals.

8) Check the indicating device of the pipe calibration press. Check the safety protection of the pipe calibration press.
